Board decided to vote at April
· Board reviewed current list of licensed electricians for the 2002 year.
· David Klimek expressed concern over the future of the electrical trade and the lack of working, licensed electricians and suggested a possible arrangement with BOCES to promote the trade and licensing.
o Jim Salva commented on this suggestion as a positive one that he could look into, but that BOCES had a small budget, no licensed instructor and a general lack of interest from applicants.
· Discussion of possible alternatives for location of exam i.e., Cayuga Community College, BOCES, 3rd floor training room or Conference Room at City Hall.
· Bob Smith will bring examples of new Limited and Master Exams based on the updated code. Hoping to have these available at next meeting.
